Deaf Manna in the Desert

There's a link on the right hand column to check out my old blogs/vlogs:

Deaf Manna in the Desert

Check it out and read some of my old posts...

The Crucified Life

Welcome to The [Deaf] Christian blog.. I am struggling with getting into my old blog, "Deaf Manna in the Desert," as it has my old email address as a sign in. But I no longer use the email and decided to create this new blog. I will add the old blog as a link for your reading.

I'm working to create videos for this blog instead of type. So bear with me as I get things started.

God bless!

Now for the "Crucified Life."

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20

OUR POSITION IN CHRIST

As believers and followers, we have died to sin - Romans 6:2.

Our old self was crucified with Christ - Romans 6:6.

Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its desires - Galatians 5:24.

We have died, and our true life is hidden with Christ - Colossians 3:3.

We have been raised to walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LIVE THE CRUCIFIED LIFE?

I truly believe our identification with Christ's death and resurrection is the answer to every struggle we face, daily! When we, with all our hearts (genuinely), do the following:

(H)ear
(B)elieve
(R)epent
(C)onfess
(B)aptize
(L)ive,

by faith, we're living Christ, every aspect of our life will be transformed.

TRANSFORMING LIFE

We are to take up our cross daily. Living the crucified life is not a 'onetime decision'. It doesn't start and stop at the baptism site. When you've buried your old life in the Lord in baptism, you have just begun your journey with Jesus. This is a continual process of taking up your cross, daily, to follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). Minute by minute, you must choose this DIFFICULT but sanctifying path to OBEY HIM!

RECOGNIZE YOUR OWN LACKING

Believers who have surrendered to Jesus realize that they can't live the Christian life on their own. All our renewed efforts to change and improve ourself result in nothing but failure. This is because the old self can never be improved. The solution is to CRUCIFY it and let Christ live through us. He is our only hope for a fruitful and victorious living.
